Services
Business & Real Estate Transactions
With over 40 years of experience, Richard’s real estate and business practice encompasses a broad range of transactions and clientele, ranging from residential matters to large, sophisticated commercial transactions. He regularly advises business owners, real estate developers, lenders, builders of residential and commercial projects, and landlords and tenants.
Clients often engage Richard to negotiate, draft and interpret purchase agreements, leases, operating agreements, bylaws and other organizational documents, loans and security agreements. He helps determine the most advantageous structure (such as a partnership or a limited liability company) for acquiring, financing, owning and selling businesses and real property.
Richard’s professional expertise and prompt and efficient service have resulted in a wealth of long-standing clients who trust him to navigate both simple and complex matters on their behalf.
Estate Planning & Administration
Richard and Cynthia advise individuals, families and fiduciaries on a wide range of estate planning, probate and administration needs, including the drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and other estate planning documents.
Upon the death of a loved one, Cynthia can efficiently guide you through the probate process, whether testate (with a will) or intestate (without a will). Although probate can sometimes feel overwhelming, Cynthia explains legal matters in non-technical everyday language and helps simplify everything for you. She considers it an honor to assist families with compassion and understanding at such a sensitive time.
